Norfolk State University, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Health and Hampton Roads Community Health Center, proposes to establish an online Master of Health Informatics degree program under the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology. The proposed degree program will focus on recruiting underrepresented minorities to reduce long-standing health disparities and inequities. The culturally responsive curriculum will be designed to meet the needs of local and state health care organizations and build students’ capacity for success.
