Regional Extension Centers (RECs) are working with over 80 percent of Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) nationwide as well as supporting practices participating in additional delivery system reform and payment models. RECs are supporting over 80 percent of the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative (CPCI) organizations/sites, over 80 percent of the Federal Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and over 50 percent of those organizations/sites participating in the Advanced Primary Care Initiative (APCI). Nearly all REC enrolled providers in these settings are live on an EHR, and three-quarters are demonstrating meaningful use (MU) of certified EHR technology (CEHRT).
