Dr. Kikelomo (Dayo) Oshunkentan is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from St. George’s University and an MBA from the Wake Forest School of Business.

With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Dr. Oshunkentan specializes in payer and provider health systems, healthcare consulting, and delivering high-quality, cost-efficient care models. She has expertise in hospital medicine, physician alignment, and driving quality metrics, patient outcomes, and satisfaction through lean management principles.

As the CEO and Founder of Health Experts, PLLC, Dr. Oshunkentan provides consulting services, leadership coaching, and care coordination strategies for chronic disease management. She implements evidence-based practices, collaborates with stakeholders to drive clinical and quality initiatives, and contributes to strategic oversight and operational excellence.

Previously, as Chief Medical Officer at Pegasystems, Dr. Oshunkentan represented clinical customers, driving solutions to support health systems, health plans, and life sciences organizations. She led the development of innovative strategies to achieve optimal patient outcomes and cost efficiency while enhancing provider experiences.

Her leadership during the pandemic included spearheading a COVID initiative involving multidisciplinary collaboration and advanced analytics. Dr. Oshunkentan’s expertise extends to medical management for corporate health plans and applying evidence-based methodologies across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business. She maintains technological proficiency across various platforms, ensuring efficient care management processes and operational excellence.

Dr. Oshunkentan continues to practice as a Hospitalist, staying connected to patient care and maintaining insight into the evolving challenges of the healthcare industry.
